1) The 4th annual Seminar on Racism and Health

This year, the Seminar will zoom into gender-based violence in the health sector and take place on 8 October. It will aim:

To raise awareness of gender-based discrimination and gender-based violence in healthcare as a public health and health equity issue;
To explore how discrimination and structural inequalities shape racialized women’s experiences of healthcare, zooming into obstetric violence;
To discuss trauma-informed, gender-sensitive, and anti-discriminatory approaches to healthcare;
To identify policy and advocacy solutions for the implementation of the EU Anti-Racism Strategy 2026–2030.

The Seminar will have twofold dynamics, featuring presentations of studies and thematic discussions. Please come prepared to participate and let your voice be heard on these critical topics.
