UN Human Rights Chief opens new regional office in Brussels

The UN Human Rights Chief Navi Pillay opened the first UN human rights office in Europe in Brussels today.

Based in Brussels since 2009, the Regional Office for Europe is one of the 100+ field presences of the UN Human Rights Office (OHCHR) around the world working to advance the protection and promotion of human rights for all, supported by headquarters in Geneva.
